Kamanjab Rest Camp is situated in the fascinating Kunene Region in the North-West of Namibia, which is also the home of the Desert Elephants, the Damara and Himba people.
We offer accommodation in 4 comfortable thatched bungalows with showers and toilets and a well-tended campsite with water, BBQ area, benches’ and tables, clean ablution facilities with cold and hot water and with electricity private from each other under shady Mopani trees. Laundry and dishwashing facilities are available. Cool off in our Splash pool after a hot and dusty drive.
Spot the bird life at our Rest camp from the nearby waterhole or from our “sundowner-koppie”. Here you can enjoy beautiful landscapes with rocky Hilltops, lovely grasslands and abundant wildlife.
We serve a healthy breakfast, lunch and dinner on request in our cozy lapa. There is also a big BBQ place outside the lapa where you can make your own ‘Namibian braai’.
Make guided or unguided excursions from our Rest Camp to a nearby Himba Village, Bushmen Rock Engravings, a Cheetah Farm or a day trip to the soon opening Western part of Etosha.
